Mrs. Lisa Bentley, MA, LCMHC

I am honored to serve the students at West Alexander Middle School. I am a graduate of Gardner-Webb University with a Master of Arts degree in Agency Counseling.  I also attended Lenoir Rhyne University to obtain an add on licensure for school counseling in addition to licensure as a Clinical Mental Health Counselor.  I have worked as a school counselor with Alexander County Schools since 2006.  I believe in supporting student's mental and emotional health as I feel this directly correlates to academic achievement and overall functioning in life.  I believe in engaging family, school personnel and other social supports as a community to assist students to reach their goals. 

I reside in Alexander County with my husband and my greatest blessings, my daughters Hannah and Gracie.
